Host: When you're stuck, where do you find inspiration?
Kari: Family, friends, connecting with the people that you love, for sure. I’m an extrovert, so honestly connecting with my people is where it's at for me.
Host: If you had to pick, which one of your designs is your favorite?
Kari: Roll Me Blunts and Tell Me I'm Pretty design has got to be one of my favorites! You know, it's girly, it's got my favorite snacks in there. It's got all of the things that I love in one picture.
Host: Yes, I love that one too. I love Buy Me Flowers, and I love the Wake and Bake with the strawberry.
Kari: Everybody who's a girly aesthetic stoner knows CannaStyle. I love every single one of their setups. That inspired me. I was like, you know what, this is giving pretty girl stoner, wake and bake vibes. I want it.
Host: Describe your work sesh lifestyle in three words.
Kari: Ooh, chaotic. Chaotic for sure. I'm all over the place. Bubbly. And if I were to put a color into it, it would be purple. So chaotic, bubbly, and purple.
Host: Share a quote that motivates you.
Kari: “There is nothing for you in the past.”. I think a lot of us get stuck rethinking what could have been and trying to change things that just can't change. And there is nothing for you in the past. A lot of the time I have to remind myself that, so I'm not harsh on myself and, you know, just keep it moving. You did the best that you could, let it go.
Host: Who is a woman in cannabis who inspires you?
Kari: I have two of my favorite artists that I really love that also create canna-artwork as well. Kushy Land, I love her work. It's very cartoonish. If you think of any cartoon, She makes it into a stoner version, and I'm just like, girl, you're a genius! I love all of your shit.
Lil X Bun is one of my favorites too. Even years before I started creating digital art, these were two women that I always looked up to as far as digital artwork went and eventually was able to even connect with them through the power of social media.
Host: Where can people find you online and shop your art?
Kari: You guys can find me on Facebook, Twitter. My Instagram is @artby_Mozart.
My Link Tree has everything on there as well.
