Self-Discipline And Feminine Power With Stoned And Horny Podcast Host Hayley Herms

This episode's guest is Hayley Herms, plus-size model, sex icon, and host of Stoned and Horny podcast. When she isn't hitting her angles for brands like Harper Wilde, Figs, and Thrive Causemetics, she's chatting with industry professionals to break the barriers around cannabis and sexual wellness. Her hustle and contagious personality is only matched by her supportive, girls-girl energy. On this episode, we discuss the repercussions her cannabis and sexual wellness content has had on her modeling career, self-discipline and accountability, standing out in a saturated space, and more. Without further adieu, let's sesh!

Host: Favorite cannabis product for the bedroom.

Hayley: THC lube, of course! I will say the key to using, even a CBD, whether you're using a CBD lube or a THC lube, and this is the tricky part, is putting it on you, in you, about 20 minutes prior. Because you want to get the full effects and benefits of it.

Lavinia makes a THC lube and one of the things that they medically studied was the fact that when you put THC lube in, not only does it feel better for you, but it feels better for your partner. Because the inside of you is literally squeezing and contracting so it's like, squeezing the dick and making that, feel better for him too.

Second, is the Foria Awaken Arousal Oil with CBD.

Host: To everyone that I've told before, here's another voucher for Foria! It's so good!

Hayley: Oh my god, you guys…YOU GUYS! Okay, here's the combo of what made me cry and have multiple orgasms on my bathroom floor. So, I put the Foria arousal oil, with the CBD, it's 30mg CBD, I don't know if they have different milligrams, but this one was 30mg.

Then I used the Reflex Rabbit 2, that's still one of my favorite vibrators. Then I ate one edible from Karma Edibles, I had their Tropic Thunder, THC gummies. So that combination sent me to outer space.

I had to listen to Celine Dion afterward. It was so powerful! Like, I was moved! Sorry. That wasn't a speed round. I'll go speedy from here, but the girls needed to know.

Host: I think that information is worth the wait! Describe your work sesh lifestyle in three words.

Hayley: Focused, passionate, and motivated. That's what cannabis does for me. I know a lot of people can't work with cannabis, but I almost can't work without it. It helps me sit down and be focused, get my work done. It helps me get out of bed and have motivation for the day. Yeah, and it gives me a passion for all the things that I pursue.

Host: Share a quote that motivates you.

Hayley: Okay, I'm gonna butcher this quote, but “You don't get the fruit the same day you plant the tree.” That one's a big reminder of you work hard and sometimes we don't get to see our results right away. I think especially in this generation we live in, because of social media. They have studied that getting a notification on your phone is like getting a hit of a drug and it's a rush and it's increasing dopamine and endorphins. I think it's really important to know that anything worth doing and that you love isn't gonna just be successful overnight.

Sometimes you get a one-hit wonder and go viral, you know, it's very rare, but most people have to put in the work and wait a minute to get those results. You're not going to eat off the yummy tree the day you plant it.

Host: What is your favorite canna-friendly Space in L. A.? Have you been to any?

Hayley: I need to get on the restaurants and the lounges because I've had a few invites, but I just haven't been able to go yet. I will say that like, I go to a lot of events. So in terms of canna-friendly spaces, Khalifa Kush recently had a great event. If you watch the podcast, I had the VP of marketing for Khalifa Kush on. Khalifa Kush is Wiz Khalifa's brand and I had Stephanie Cakes there so she invited me to the launch party. It was one of the most chill, vibey spaces I've been!

I also, there's an event coming up, they have it now and then, called Litty in the City. It's a great space to check out small businesses within the cannabis space and buy the product. It was so vibey. I think some cannabis events can be, especially the first of their kind, a little unorganized and stuff but Litty has a great vibe going in a big space. It was a lot of fun!

Lastly, my friends and I are helping build an orphanage in Mexico, so if you’re in L.A., just look at our pages, once or twice a year. We have fundraisers where all sorts of cannabis companies donate their products, and we have a carnival so you can play games for money and win weed prizes. Like, you know, you pay like 10 to get in or whatever, and then we have games from $1 - $5. And you can win anything from a vape pen to an eighth, to a pre-roll, like, we're talking like good fucking shit by just like spinning a wheel or throwing a ball, and all the proceeds go to the orphanage.

Host: What is your biggest dream for women in cannabis?

Hayley: Just to see us more. Whitney's episode on Stoned and Horny. She made a really good point about how 5 - 10 years ago, cannabis was essentially a woman ran space for a minute and no shade to men, but I definitely would like to see women be more empowered and leveraged up again in the cannabis space. I think that just women in general build communities, they nurture and foster neighborhoods. I think one of the smartest things, even if it's not women owned it’s having a woman’s voice to help guide you, help give you perspective, and get that feminine energy and the nurturing because, you know, within the wellness space, whether it's weed or not, you need that nurturing energy. I would love to see women back on top in the cannabis industry. I would like to see brands work with more women of color. Especially in the dispensaries, as budtenders, and more women domination.

I want to see more women at the forefront and I want to see more men putting women in those places if they have the power to. Allyship is so important. I also just want to see more women smoking weed in public and talking about it on the internet in all different career fields. I love that your podcast touches on all the different women from all different fields that use cannabis because you know, the corporate baddies are smoking. The teachers are smoking. The moguls are smoking.

It's crazy how such brilliant women are using cannabis, and I'd love for them to be able to come forward without jeopardizing their careers, jeopardizing their income, and you know, jeopardizing their income could also mean jeopardizing their family's stability. For women of color that could mean that their children are taken away by CPS. So I would love to see a world one day where women of all different career fields Are smoking loudly and proudly online without having major repercussions for it.
