Life On The Dispensary Sales Floor With Medicinal Cannabis Consultant Tmakkkk

Thalia Luna a.k.a. Tmakkkk, a.k.a. my Pisces sister! T got her start in the cannabis industry as a Budtender at Burners on Haight, San Francisco’s first dispensary on the legendary Haight and Ashbury. From there she has grown her network from The Bay to L.A. as a brand ambassador for brands like Backpack Boyz and Sluggers while pursuing her Masters degree in Medicinal Cannabis Consulting.

Host: Describe your work sesh lifestyle in three words. 

Thalia: Long hours. Motivation and this one, it's two separate words, but I feel like they go hand in hand, which is faith and passion.

If you don't have those two things within yourself, if guess what? You're gonna be insecure about what you've got going. 'cause you're just gonna be contemplating thinking about it. You gotta have that passion and motivation and the faith inside of you. 100%. 

Host: What's your current favorite cannabis product?

Thalia: I am gonna say in regular rotation at the moment, are two brands, which are Backpack Boys and Ted's Budz. Those two are always in my weed bag, my purse, my backpack, whatever I got on me, rotation. Fresh flower. I don't do very many cartridges anymore.

I'm more of the, like to break it down, roll it up, type. That's like my therapy right there.

Host: You're a dream person to have a smoke sesh with. 

Thalia: For me, it would be Rihanna because she smokes cannabis, you know, and she owns businesses. She does it all like, what doesn't this woman do?

And she's about to have a baby like what? Oh my God. You know, she's really killing it and she, I know has so much great advice on how to run a business and how to even get started and how to keep going. Could you imagine the brainstorm sesh you could have with Rihanna? Imagine creating a mood board with her.

My new goal in life: smoke a couple of joints and create a mood board with Rihanna. By the pool. Yep. 

Host: What's your favorite song to light up to? 

Thalia: Right now, in rotation, I have Tem's Fountains. It's the Drake song she did with him. I say Tem's because Tem's is really what makes that voice in that song.

Host: What is your biggest dream for your cannabis career? 

Thalia: For me, I have a couple. My biggest thing though that I really wanna do is collaborate with all my favorite brands. You guys all know, if you're reading this, that we're gonna be collaborating. You know who I fuck with. You guys know that we're gonna be doing some work together. Fairly soon.

And also the biggest thing is to own my own local cannabis coffee shop in like a couple of big cities where it's just a vibe. Like, it's your local coffee shop that you go to work, chill, hang out with friends, smoke, and catch some vibes like that is the goal right there. It’ll be a local spot, you know, like, I'm gonna go smoke at T's. You guys already know good music and positive energy!
